A useful tip that we learned from the great guys at Ackerman Heating and Air!

If you adjust your heat down (at night or when you leave for work) more than 5 degrees, it is actually MORE EXPENSIVE than if you leave your home at a consistent temperature.  It COSTS you money to bring your home back up to temperature by more than 5 degrees so stop adjusting that thermostat!  Thank you Scott Ackerman!
